Services
Hypertext Web Solutions provides website development, graphic design, social media management, and search engine optimization services. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for any project will be outlined in a separate proposal or agreement between you and Hypertext Web Solutions.
Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to provide timely and accurate information, materials, and feedback necessary for the completion of projects. Delays in providing required materials may affect project timelines. Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to any content, images, or materials they provide to us.
Payment Terms
Payment terms, including deposits, milestones, and final payments, will be specified in the project proposal or agreement. Unless otherwise stated, a deposit may be required before work begins. All invoices are due within the timeframe specified in the agreement.
Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, the client receives ownership of the final deliverables created specifically for their project, excluding third-party materials, templates, or pre-existing components. Hypertext Web Solutions retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Revisions and Approvals
The number of revisions included in each project will be specified in the project agreement. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur additional charges. Client approval at each milestone is required to proceed to the next phase.
Project Cancellation
Either party may cancel a project with written notice. Clients are responsible for payment of work completed up to the date of cancellation, including any non-refundable deposits. Pre-paid amounts for uncompleted work may be refunded at our discretion.
Warranties and Disclaimers
Hypertext Web Solutions warrants that its services will be performed with reasonable skill and care. However, we do not guarantee specific results, including search engine rankings, traffic levels, or business outcomes. Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind beyond those explicitly stated.
Limitation of Liability
Hypertext Web Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the course of a project. This obligation survives the termination of any agreement.
Third-Party Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of service of third-party sites. You access third-party sites at your own risk.
Changes to Terms
